Q: What information do you need from me to start the process?
A: Once you have selected and ordered your Resume package, complete and submit the Client Career Profile Questionnaire that we will email to you.  We will then schedule a phone consultation to discuss your career objectives and experience in more details.  Based on this, we will personally create a powerful resume to showcase your strengths and get results in your job search.

Q:How long does it take to create my resume?
A: After you have returned your completed Client Career Profile Questionnaire and we have our phone consultation, it usually takes about 5-7 business days for you to electronically receive your resume. 

Q: Which resume format is best for me? 
A:  Based on each individual's experience, we will choose from the following formats: chronological, functional, combined, skills based, performance based, recent graduate, career change, Curriculum Vitae (CV for academic professions) and creative or arts based formats. Since each person has a unique set of skills, job experience, abilities and career objectives, it is very important that we select the best format that is right for you in order to create a winning resume that is specific to you and your goals.

Q:  How long should my resume be?
A:  The average resume today is two pages long but can be longer depending upon your field, experience or the position that you are applying for. However, we will omit any irrelevant information or any information that will hurt your chances of getting an interview.

Q: What is the difference between a traditional, e-resume, web based resume and scannable resume?
A:  Traditional resumes are typically written in a Word document format. Electronic or web based resumes are sent to an employer by email or Internet where they can be posted to internet resume banks to be searched, downloaded or viewed by employers. A Scannable or faxable resumes is designed to be easily faxed, photocopied or scanned into a computer using a scanner.

Q: How will you handle gaps in employment?
A: Gaps in employment may happen for one reason or another. We will utilize the best resume format possible to promote your strengths using strong action verbs, powerful measurable results as well as your career successes and milestones.  

Q:  Can you critique the resume that I already have?
A:  Yes, we can. We offer a thorough Resume Critique service for $45. Just send us your resume and we will review it for you and provide feedback so that you can revise it yourself. However, if you would like for our professional resume writer service to do it for you, the $45 will be applied toward any selected resume package.

Q:  How often should we update my resume?
A:  Definitely every six to twelve months, especially if you have added any new skills, experience, work projects, education or if you have changed any of your contact information.  Also, if you are thinking about changing jobs, careers, going for a promotion or suspect a company layoff, it is best to update your resume sooner in order to prepare you for opportunities that may unexpectedly arise in your favor.

Q:  Will my information be stored for future updates?
A:  Yes, we will store all versions of your resume, cover letter, reference list, thank you letter and professional bios in the event that you need future updates or copies.

Q:  Can you put my resume on a disk and/or send me the hard copy? 
A:  Yes, we can do both.  In addition to having it emailed electronically to you for free, you can also order a CD of your documents for $5 and any hard copies of any document for only $5 per document.  We print using a Laser Printer and only the highest quality resume paper for that professional look!

  Do you work with clients in other States?
A:  Absolutely! Since most of our work is completed electronically or over the phone and/or fax, we have many clients and referrals in other States.  We are not only convenient but we guarantee that we will personalize your service as if you were right here!

Q: Will my information be private and confidential?
A:  Absolutely! All client information will remain confidential and is used only for the purpose of your requested service. We will never disclose your information to a third party vendor.
